☕️ JPM does it again, will others follow?

It’s Hayley here while Keith is on the road! 😀 

All three major indexes are in the green as I type. 

Makes sense. 

Banks are putting in a rock-solid set of earnings — exactly as Keith said they would in his recent conversation with Ashley Webster. (Watch) 

Take Team Dimon, obliterating expectations, for example. (Read) 

• Revenue: $47.12 billion vs. $45.4 billion expected, up 9% YoY 
• EPS: $5.07 vs. $4.84 expected, up 16% YoY 
• Net interest income: $24.1 billion, up 2% YoY 
• Net income: $14.39 billion, up 12% YoY 

And it’s setting us up nicely for the rest of the earnings cycle. 

Which reminds me of a fitting "Keithism" :

Investing in optimism beats cowering in pessimism any day, every day. 

No doubt the headline mongers will try to spin it differently. 

Hmmm. 🤔 

Keith would really want you to think about this: 

The biggest profit potential is always found at the edge of absurdity.  

History is full of perfect examples. 

Take Jules Verne, the 19th-century author often called the father of science fiction, who imagined submarines and space travel at a time when both were pure fantasy. 

Or comic books like Dick Tracy, Iron Man, and Batman — all of which dreamt up technologies like talking wristwatches, AI assistants, and advanced gadgets decades before they became real. 

Even Star Trek “beamed up” ideas like communicators, AI, and virtual reality — all thought absurd at the time. 

And yet, here we are. 

Today we sit at a history-writing intersection of AI, robotics, quantum computing, clean energy and energy storage, customisable medicine, and blockchain technology — to name just a few that come to mind. 

Successful investing is about probabilities, not possibilities. 

It makes all kinds of sense to play into that.
